Donated $300 to the Classroom to Courtroom Program (Feb 7, 2018)

Donated $300 to the Special Olympics Fundraiser via Lassiter H.S. Volleyball Sponsored Luncheon for Cobb Explorer Post Regional Meet (March 2018)

Law Ride by the Blue Knights- $500 Donation - This fundraiser provides financial support to fallen officer's families from Georgia. (April 2, 2108)

Donated $300 to the Paulding Co. Public Safety Appreciation Inc (April 4, 2018)

Donated $350 to the Kennesaw General's 5 yr old All-star Baseball Team (May 2, 2018)

Donated $250 to the Oregon Park Sharks 8-9yr old Baseball Team (May 2, 2018)

Members provided a $2,400 sponsorship to our members participating in the Police Unity Tour. This occurred during National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington D.C. (May 2018)

Made a $300 donation to the "Shoot for the Horizon" program to benefit special needs children sponsored by Acworth PD (August 2018)

Donated $300 to the Cobb Police Explorer Post.

Donated $300 to the Lassiter High School Autism Fundraiser (July 2018)

Law Enforcement Memorial (Marietta, GA) - $950 - This event was held May 2018 to remember our fallen Officers in Cobb County.

Back to School Supplies (September 2018) - spent $2,500 on supplies from the Target Store on the East West Connector at Austell Rd. The following schools received supplies:

  • R.M Moore Elementary, Hasty Elementary, Little River Elementary, Woodstock Elementary, Johnston Elementary, Arnold Mill Elementary and Bascomb Carmel Elementary in Cherokee County.
    • Hiram Elementary, Baggett Elementary, Nebo Elementary and Dallas Elementary in Paulding County.
    • North Douglas Elementary, Lithia Springs Elementary, Annette Winn Elementary and Beulah Elementary in Douglas County.
    • Austell Elementary, Compton Elementary, Birney Elementary, Milford Elementary, Sanders Elementary and Hollydale Elementary in Cobb County

Community Outreach Program - $1,000 spent. This program purchased coloring books, crayons, pens & pencils, as well as other promotional items given to the community at various events during 2018.

Members voted to donate $300 to the Cobb Atlanta Volleyball Team (November 2018)

Thanksgiving Food Baskets (November 2018 - $2,750 spent)
Each year our lodge distributes Thanksgiving Food Bags to those in need. This year 144 food bags have been distributed between elementary schools in our four county service area. Food Baskets were delivered to the following schools:

  • Cherokee County - Little River Elementary, Arnold Mill Elementary, Johnston Elementary, Woodstock Elementary, Bascomb Carmel Elementary, Oak Grove Elementary, Hasty Elementary and R.M. Moore Elementary.
  • Cobb County – Austell Elementary, Clarkdale Elementary, Birney Elementary, Mableton Elementary, Clay Elementary, Bryant Elementary and Milford Elementary.
  • Douglas County – North Douglas Elementary, Beulah Elementary, Lithia Springs Elementary and Annette Winn Elementary.
  • Paulding County - Nebo Elementary, Baggett Elementary, Hiram Elementary and Dallas Elementary.

Thanksgiving Food Sponsor (November 2018 - $500 spent) - This year FOP Lodge 13 joined forces with Sweetwater Mission in Austell to provide a Thanksgiving meal to 50 needy families in Cobb & Douglas County. In addition to a Turkey these families will also get one weeks' worth of groceries as part of the "Let's Talk Turkeys" program.

Members voted to spend $570 on 10,000 candy canes for the annual Cobb County Parks and Recreation Candy Cane Hunt (December 2018)

Cookies with Santa – sponsored a Day with Santa at the Lodge and served 100+ Public Safety Children with toys, crafts and pictures with Santa, hamburgers, hotdogs, drinks and a marshmallow roast. Total spent was approximately $500. (December 2018)

Christmas Food Bags (December 2018) - spent $2,750 on this program. Lodge 13 continues its tradition of delivering food baskets to those in need via our local schools. This year 144 food bags have been distributed in our four county service area. Food Baskets were delivered to the following schools:

FOP Cops & Kids Program - Our program provided Christmas to 125 kids who shopped with Police Officers at the Target Store on the East/West Connector and Austell Rd. $15,300 spent on the children. (December 2018)

FOP Cops & Kids Program - Our program shopped with 25 kids from the Calvary Children's Home and provided gift cards for ten kids that were unable to attend - 1 $4,200 was spent on the children. (December 2018)
