Donated $300 to the National FOP Foundation, to aid West Virginia flood victims.

Sponsored the New Hope Athletic Association 8up Baseball team for $300

Donated $300 to the Cobb County Department of Public Safety Explorer Post

Passed the hat at our monthly meeting and donated an additional $300 to the Explorer Post

Sponsored the Cobb Atlanta Juniors Volleyball for $300

Donated $300 to a Lodge Member in distress

Donated $300 to the Marietta Police Athletic League

Law Ride by the Blue Knights- $1,000.00 Donation - This fundraiser provides financial support to fallen officer's families from Georgia.

Donated $300 to the Annual Shoot for the Horizon pistol match sponsored by the Acworth Police Department to benefit special needs in the City of Acworth.

Sponsored two teams at the Horace Orr American Legion Post 29 Golf Tournament - $600

Officer Outreach Program - $1,000 - Provided support, flowers, etc. for local officers and families in need.

Members provided a $2,000 sponsorship to our members participating in the Police Unity Tour. This occurred during National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington D.C. (May 2015)

Law Enforcement Memorial (Marietta, GA) - $700 - This event is held each May to remember our fallen Officers in Cobb County.

Back to School Supplies (September 2016)- spent $1,500 on supplies from the Target Store on the East West Connector at Austell Rd. We provided school supplies to each of the listed schools. The following schools received supplies:

  • Arnold Mill Elementary, Little River Elementary, Johnston Elementary, Woodstock Elementary and Bascomb Carmel Elementary in Cherokee County.
  • Dallas Elementary, Hiram Elementary, Nebo Elementary, McGarity Elementary and Lithia Springs Elementary in Paulding County.
  • North Douglas Elementary, Eastside Elementary, Lithia Springs Elementary, Annette Winn Elementary and Beulah Elementary in Douglas County.
  • Mableton Elementary, Clay Elementary, Sanders Elementary, Bryant Elementary, Clarkdale Elementary, Austell Elementary, Milford Elementary and Birney Elementary in Cobb County

Community Outreach Program - $2,000 spent. This program purchased coloring books, crayons, pens & pencils, as well as other promotional items given to the community at various events during 2016.

Thanksgiving Food Baskets (November 2016 - $2,500 spent). Annually our lodge distributes Thanksgiving Food Bags to those in need. This year the bags have been distributed between Cobb, Cherokee, Douglas and Paulding County Schools. Food Baskets were delivered to the following schools:

  • Cherokee County - Little River Elementary, Arnold Mill Elementary, Johnston Elementary, Woodstock Elementary, and Bascomb Carmel Elementary and Hasty Elementary.
  • Paulding County - Dallas Elementary, Nebo Elementary, Baggett Elementary, Hiram Elementary and McGarity Elementary.
  • Douglas County - Lithia Springs Elementary, Beulah Elementary Annette Winn Elementary and North Douglas Elementary.
  • Cobb County - Milford Elementary, Birney Elementary, Russell Elementary, Sanders Elementary, Mableton Elementary and Austell Elementary.

Members voted to spend $500 on 10,000 candy canes for the annual Cobb County Parks and Recreation Candy Cane Hunt in December.

Cookies with Santa – sponsored a Day with Santa at the Lodge and served 130+ Public Safety Children with toys, crafts and pictures with Santa, hamburgers, hotdogs, drinks and a marshmallow roast. Total spent was approximately $500.

Christmas Food Bags (December 2016) - spent $2,500 on this program
Lodge 13 continues its tradition of delivering food baskets to those in need via our local schools. This year food bags have been distributed between Cobb, Cherokee, Douglas and Paulding County Schools. Food Baskets were delivered to the following schools:

  • Cherokee County - Little River Elementary, Arnold Mill Elementary, Johnston Elementary, Woodstock Elementary, Hasty Elementary and Bascomb Carmel Elementary.
  • Cobb County - Palmer Middle School, Griffin Middle School, Belmont Elementary, Simpson Middle School, Smitha Middle School, South Cobb High School and Sprayberry High School
  • Paulding County - Hiram Elementary, Dallas Elementary, Baggett Elementary and Nebo Elementary.
  • Douglas County - Annette Winn Elementary, Lithia Springs Elementary, North Douglas Elementary and Beulah Elementary.

FOP Cops & Kids Program - Our program provided Christmas to 131 kids who shopped with Police Officers at the Target Store on the East/West Connector and Austell Rd. $19,000 spent on the children.

FOP Cops & Kids Program - Our program shopped with 28 kids from the Calvary Children's Home and provided gift cards for three kids that were unable to attend - $3,820 spent
